this is a test

August is drawing near and our Summer Reading Club is winding down. We’ve drawn our last adult prize winner and are busy handing out our final prizes to the children and teens who bring in their reading records.
Thanks so much to all you creative types who found such eloquent, clever ways to tell us why you love Anne Arundel County Public Library. I’d like to end with a second helping of one of my favorite entries, Library Lunch by Lydie Strasburg:
HECTIC LIFE, SOMETIMES MY BRAIN NEEDS TO MUNCH…

We’ll see you at AACPL the next time you need a nourishing mental meal or just a treat.
We just drew the name of our Week 5 winner. She is Angela Ward-Baldyga. Congratulations, Angela!
I like the library because it makes me merry. I go there to read books. And sometimes, I have to admit I get hooked on the books.
At the West County Area Library, computers are just down the hall; and made available for all to enjoy.
I like the library because; it has all kinds of activities for the whole family to enjoy. For example, the library has computer classes, famous authors as guest speakers, game night and a summer reading program.
I like the library because; it has plenty of light; so my eyes won’t get tight from dim lights.
I like the library because it is relaxing, educating, and enjoyable. The library will not put a frown on my face; because it makes me merry.

What do you desire?
I can’t imagine not having the public library in my life. The world would feel noticeably colder and darker without it. The library is and has always been a place of meaning and happiness for me. From the time my mother first took me to enjoy fairy tales as a little girl, to my current study of foreign languages, with all the fiction and non-fiction between and since, the library has been a center of good things. I fervently hope it will continue forever to share its joy and riches with all of us.

Anne Arundel County Libraries have always been very welcoming. They have a wide variety of reading material and DVD’s. The librarians are always willing to assist you in any way that they can. They are always very informative and encouraging you to try new things. They offer many shows and programs that entertain both adults and children. This summer spent at Anne Arundel County Libraries has been a great one from the start of summer till now. The summer is now wrapping up and school is about to begin I have had an enjoyable summer all because of the our great Maryland libraries.
Thank you for your time.
